Dear Friends of The Collection,
During our first season, we welcomed the artist and novelist, Alexander Motyl for the exhibition "Golden Illusions" at our main gallery in Malvern, PA. The Opening Reception was held on February 29th followed by a special reading program by Alex of his novel, "Who Killed Andrei Warhol?" on March 1st. Alex's events were very well attended. (Click here for some scenes from the events)
The current exhibition features three very talented photographers who are active in their pursuit of artistry in different styles and subject matter. Stephen Fox excels in black and white photography, focusing on realism in capturing nature and surrealistic illusionary effects in his exploration of humans and animals.
Michael Kehl brings forth crisp and sharp images of his subject matter. When he captures landscapes and scenery of the country side, everything seems to talk to you. His classic and racing car series have been pursued by many ardent followers of his work and have received many major awards.
Linda Litwin, as in her music, melodically captures the floral and botanical representation in her photography. She brings forth natural and honest images in a kind and gentle rendition. Her works from Ireland and New York are very real yet seem to be wrapped in her music. Her photography is attuned with her life of music.
Indeed, we are very fortunate to have these three artists exhibiting their unique and exciting works at our gallery this month. I am confident that you will enjoy their three very different styles of fine art photography (artists' images). Come and visit our new show.
Thank you for taking time to visit us on our site. I look forward to meeting you in person in the weeks to come...
With best regards, Tomoko Torii, Curator THE TORI COLLECTION
