    Born in Mishima City, Shizuoka, Japan in 1957.
    Graduated from the Sacred Heart Women’s College, Tokyo. Received MFA
    from Musashino Art College, Tokyo.

    Yoko resides and paints in the region of Izu, Southwestern Japan. In the
    natural surroundings of the beauty of both the hills, valleys and the
    seacoast of Izu Peninsular, she is able to express and create the delicate
    and pure imagery of flowers almost to the point that one can sense the
    fragrance of them.
